Applications
Application series of capacitors has been designed for A.C. applications, where reduced dimensions high reliability and lower costs are required. In general they are used for the following applications:
- Running capacitors for single phase motors.
- Running capacitors for three phase motors working as single phase.
- Power factors correction of small loads.
Construction
The capacitors are housed in plastic casing with plastic upper decks. The material used to fill and fix the capacitors into the can is a thermosetting resin having high stability at high temperatures. The capacitors can be supplied with or without mounting stud, with double terminals 6.3 mm, single terminals 6.3 mm, mini terminals 2.8 mm, or a two core cable or two single core cables. The capacitors having cables are also filled and sealed with thermosetting resin, with or without plastic upper decks.
Protection grade
IP 00 for type with terminals.
IP 55 for type with cables.
